Term 3

We are looking forward to term 3. School is cool because we see our friends, we get to learn new things, we share and play together. We are looking forward to having a new swimming pool too. We are learning how to make helpful decisions.

Junior School Production Rehearsals

We are practising for the production. I can't wait until next week. I hope it is fun. I am a rat. My favourite part is the end because we all sing together.



Term 2 assembly

We did assembly today about the farm at the end of the road. I shared my story about our visit to Farmer Karen's farm. We sang Old McDonald had a farm.

Cinderella

The apples and oranges did a play at reading time called Cinderella. I enjoyed it when Bradey Said "Will you marry me?" to Georgia D

We did a play called The Elves and the Shoemaker. I was the wife and Mrs T was the elves. We made her some little clothes. It was funny.

The Farm at the End of the Road

We went to Farmer Karen's farm on Thursday.

Fun run.

 

On  Friday  we  went  to  the  beach  to  have  the  fun  run.  We  came  to  school  in  our  house  colours. 

Paige and the piranha

I brought a piranha in today. Dad got the piranha from the Amazon River. It  has sharp teeth. It has been dried.

Captain Cashtastic

Holly came  to school  last week . She told us to spend our money on what we need not on what we want. 

Macs pretended to be her friend  and say she liked polka dots. She had to buy an umbrella before she bought a barbecue.

Matariki

We did our pictures about the Seven Stars of Matariki. We chose our favourite part of the story. I liked it when the fairy women were brushing their golden hair.



Indigo's Rats

I brought  my rats to school. Their names are Bindi and Bella. They are hooded rats.

Spot the Ducks

We went  to see the ducks at the new swimming pool. The ducks liked the water. We saw yellow rubber duckies too.

Goodbye Miss Graham

Today is Miss Graham's last day with us. We are going to miss her. Please come and visit us Miss Graham

The Hare and the Tortoise

Today  we read the story called The Hare and the Tortoise. We have made masks to share the play with the class.

Kate's Giant Pumpkin

"I would make it into a baby's bed" said Murphy.
"I would make it into a bath." said Marco.
"I  would  make  it  into some  cups  and  plates." said Kate.

Making Mushrooms for the Gala

We made mushrooms in the staffroom. We used chocolate, coconut, fruit sticks and marshmallows. We smelled them. They are yummy.

Writing Time

We are writing a story about Hiwi the Kiwi.

Term 1 assembly

We can do what the animals do. We can move like the animals move and squirm like a wriggly worm.

ASB Aquatic Centre Day

We had lots of fun in the boat. We learnt how to bail out the water.
